About Men’s Therapy

What is Men’s Therapy, LLC?

There is a current trend toward human optimization. We’ve all seen the improved workouts and diets but what about the improved use of your mind?

Men’s Therapy provides this missing piece by offering optimization for the way you think. Current trends are finally recognizing and placing emphasis on the importance of self-actualization. This may come in the form of a better body through diet and exercise, and it may be in the form of a better functioning mind, including more clear and directed thinking and focus. Self-actualization and living an authentic life is a topic born in antiquity, and remains perhaps the highest level of mental functioning. Striving for that level of results is a more rewarding, full and enjoyable life.

Life has provided me opportunities to grow and expand in ways I may not have realized at the time, but now can truly appreciate.

Born and raised on the east coast outside Philadelphia, PA in the suburb of Bucks County, I moved to Greenville, NC where I obtained my bachelor’s degrees. After relocating to the midwest I completed my master’s degree in Minneapolis, MN. I then shifted gears and began a successful career in professional sales and investment in real estate. During this time, I also had one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences of my life as a hospice counselor. A transition to Oklahoma afforded me the opportunity to come full circle and pursue my true passion of psychotherapy, working in private practice and focusing on men’s issues. I am now home in the midwest providing my expertise.

It is my belief that in every waking, present moment we can choose one of three options: avoidance, clashing or congruence. Of course the choice we make, affects the choices we are able to make. But how and why we make the choice we do is of extreme importance both in the present and for the future – at this point, we begin therapy.
